The pipe band drum sticks are made from a very high quality North American white maple. They are made by one of the World's leading drum stick manufacturer. Each drumstick is weighed, checked for tone and then matched into pairs, ensuring the best quality for every pair. The drum sticks have a ball shaped acorn. These drum sticks produce an excellent tone on the snare drum and due to the ball shaped acorn, they are excellent for playing closed roll movements and also open work. Each pair of drumsticks are identified with the David Farquhar metallic red signature logo.
